Hey everyone,
Welcome back to my channel! A few months ago I had the chance to go on a zero gravity flight! The ZERO-G Experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience true weightlessness. On a specially modified Boeing 727, parabolic arcs are performed to create a weightless environment allowing you to float, flip and soar as if you were in space. It was AWESOME!
To describe it in a bit more detail, we took off and flew for about 30 mins into our designated airspace. We were then told to get up from our seats and lay down in our blue section with our group for our last reminder of how it all is going to work. About 10 mins after laying down we were told the airplane was going to do its first parabolic arc. Here you feel quite a bit of pressure as the plane is ascending, you can barely lift your arms! They started us off easy with Martian gravity, which is only 1/3rd of your weight, then we went to Lunar gravity which is 1/6th of your weight and then its ZERO G! During Martian gravity I was able to easily do a one arm push up! ;) Lunar gravity was when you really start to slowly feel yourself becoming weightless, this was a great warm up for the Zero G! OMG once we got to Zero G every move you made had to be super light to the touch otherwise you would fly across the the entire plane as seen in 2:43 lol. It was such an insane feeling to feel completely weightless! Once the plane was in its parabolic arc my body completely lifted off of the floor without any help.. Its hard to even describe it! After each 30 second parabola you are told to lay completely flat back onto the ground to prepare for the next one. We did 16 of these! I think i'm ready to go to space;)
