There are quite some who may be new to cooking fish. A simple Mackerel fry is a good way to begin the learning experience :) Bangde, as Mackerels are called in Konkani, have a lovely, strong flavour of their own which is complimented well with just a mix of turmeric, red chilli, ginger, garlic and vinegar. Fresh banged though are best on their own with some Salt, roasted within banana leaves! Another video for that!

Ingredients:
3 fresh, Mackerels
Salt, generous spoons
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili powder
1 or 2 Tablespoons White vinegar
Rava/Sooji (semolina) as required
