We've been home for just over a week now, and much of the week has been spent just settling back and soaking up the pets and catching up on life here. I spent a month dreaming of the day that I could hug and kiss them, so that was a priority! Although I think a test would be a good idea for completeness, I am quite sure I have developed allergies to the pets. The two months I was away this year I had a clear head. When I am home, I have severe runny and puffy eyes, itchy eyes, watery eyes, stuffy nose .... etc .... Sure, it could be something else in the house causing these symptoms (I hope !), but I think either way, the treatment is the same. DRUGS MAN! 😜. On that note, we have adopted another dog!! That is the 'big' news I had to share. I am so excited to introduce you to her - she is an absolute sweetheart. I feel so passionately about the pets, a drive to keep doing what I can to help out - it's honestly what kept me going on some of those days away from home. 💝
Anyway, don't worry - we will be back into some construction projects next week/this month, and in the new year I will largely be tackling the cliff cabin. I want it done because come spring I have a big and fun project to tackle, which will include a lot of milling and building. 🤩.
