Motivational Success Story Of Charles Darwin - How The Lazy College Dropout Made History

Did you know that Charles Darwin was an ordinary boy, not very interested in school. He was was expected to became a disgrace to the family.

Charles Darwin in one of the greatest scientists of all time. His theory of evolution by natural selection revolutionized the way we think about life. But Charles Darwin, one of the most influential figures in human history was once an ordinary boy who was expected to became a disgrace to the family.
Charles Darwin grew up searching for his father's approval.

As a young boy he struggled in school and wasn't very interested in his studies. Sitting in the classroom was very boring for him. But Outside of class, he loved collecting and exploring the nature.

"I believe that I was considered by all my masters and by my father as a very ordinary boy, rather below the common standard of intellect". His father told him: "you will be a disgrace to yourself and all your family."

His father was a successful doctor who wanted his son to follow his footsteps. So Darwin went to study medicine. But unfortunately, he was bored with the lectures and the sight of blood made him sick to his stomach. So, He dropped out of medical school.

It turned out that Darwin was more interested in natural history than medicine.

So at just 22, without his father's approval Charles Darwin followed his passion and went on a 5 year boat trip around the world. On this trip he would collect thousands of specimens, bones and fossils. He later used this data to develop his groundbreaking theory of evolution in "The Origin of the Species" and changed the way we think about the natural world.

The ordinary boy, who struggled in school and feared he'll become a disgrace to his family, actually became one of the greatest and most influential scientists of all time.
