Incredible what AMG done with the record with the AMG one!

But let's see here an interesting comparison....

i took the video of one qualifying lap of my dear friend Kuba Giermaziak last year into the AMG GT3 and transposed it with the AMG one lap of Maro Engel, both start from the Sabine Schmidt cure (ex T13) and finished on the kerb before the connection to the GP track.
The result is very very close as you can see!
Both driver are in the pro Gold classification FIA (up of this classification is Platinum which is basically F1 driver)
Kuba won the overal NLS endurance Nurburgring championship this year and Maro Engel has also a great palmarès with nurburgring 24HRS win etc...
So two WORLDCLASS PRO DRIVER here!

Few facts:
The AMG one had a tricky lap due to some wet spots on the track who made him loosed around 5 secs at my opinion
Kuba had a perfect condition lap but with some traffic who made him loose around 3/4secs.

The AMG GT3 of Kuba had a BOP (balance of performance) who is quiet rude for endurance racing, so the car had only 490HP vs 580hp with out restriction....

The AMG ONE is 3M€
The AMG GT3 is 500K€

In nls the record on qualify is around 6 secs quicker so if you do a perfect qualy lap with no BOP we can expect around 10secs quicker than this lap for the AMG GT3

Conclusion, both car on a perfect conditions super qualify lap, with no restriction, no wet spot etc
