A certain weed is taking over lawns. This weed is called American burnweed. It can be a frustrating weed to control in the lawn. I share lawn care tips with on how to kill this weed without killing the grass. Pre emergent herbicides are not typically as effective on burnweed because it germinates in the thatch instead of the soil. I have found using specticle flo in the fall has helped with burnweed but is not a perfect solution. I test 5 different plots of burnweed in the lawn and show you how to kill it fast.
