As an update, I had a real gunsmith go through these guns. They needed a trigger set replacement, new gas blocks and tubes, new springs and buffers. Basically they were delicate parts that might have worked in a full-sized AR but were in no way suitable for an AR pistol. Manufacturer is a liar and doesn't honor his warranty.
