In 2002 Mike Harmon had a tire go down during NASCAR Busch Series practice at Bristol Motor Speedway. He hit the same spot in the gate that Michael Waltrip hit 12 years earlier with a very similar result. Except the general public probably has never even heard about this incident. The car was split in almost three pieces all around him, then RCR driver Johnny Sauter with nowhere to go hit the spinning car only inches from Mike's unprotected driver seat. Today 21 years later Mike still has the car and is preparing it to go to the Talladega Motorsports Hall of Fame Museum. We get to to check it out up close before he takes it over!
