Alessia Russo struck twice to lift Arsenal to a 4-1 victory over league leaders Chelsea in front of a new Women’s Super League record 59,042 at the Emirates. The victory took the Gunners level on points with Emma Hayes' Blues and reduced the goal difference deficit to just three.

Melvine Malard scored twice and set up another to help Manchester United to a convincing 4-0 Super League victory over Tottenham at Brisbane Road. The France international opened scored either side of teeing up Ella Toone, with Hayley Ladd completing an excellent evening for United late on.

Man City went behind against Villa in the seventh minute to a brilliant hooked finish from Danielle Turner but Hemp scored twice in quick succession midway through the second half. Lauren Hemp was happy to end a difficult week on a high after scoring both goals in Manchester City's 2-1 Women's Super League victory over Aston Villa.
