In this video, we will show you how easy it is to grow bell peppers in containers from store-bought fresh bell peppers.

Using this method you will reduce waste, and save money.

Here are some additional essential tips and requirements for a successful harvest:

1. You’ll want to start your seeds growing about six or seven weeks before the last frost expected for your area.
2. It is important to note that bell peppers like a warm and moist environment. So, place them under a temperature between 80-85°F (22-29°C). Placing the seeds under these temperatures helps speed up the germination time.
3. Peppers should be planted in a location that receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
4. Mix compost or other organic matter into the soil when planting.
5. Water immediately after planting, then regularly throughout the season.
6. Bell pepper seeds can take up to 2-3 weeks to germinate, so be patient and continue watering the soil.
7. Bell peppers usually can be harvested about 60-90 days after transplanting. Green peppers are the least mature and the most bitter — but if you leave a green pepper to ripe, it will evolve into red, yellow or orange, which means that the bell pepper is fully ripened.
