🎥🧟‍♂️ Behind the Scenes of 'The Last of Us' Infected Movement on HBO | Paul Becker 🌟

As an award-winning choreographer, I had the incredible opportunity to teach the zombies on "The Last of Us" how to move. 🏆 This challenge was one I eagerly embraced. On set, we had a rule: no one could say the Z-word, only "infected" was allowed. It was amazing to witness the transformation as each actor turned into a monstrous being with the slightest twitch. 💥

Months before filming began, we delved into designing the distinctive movements for the infected and the eerie clickers. With a cast consisting mostly of individuals without a movement background, my role was to provide them with a crash course in moving like an infected person. 💃🧟‍♂️ Just like any form of dance, every motion had to have a reason, a purpose.

Working with non-dancers is not new to me. In the past, I've collaborated with the likes of Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé, and the Jonas Brothers, leveraging their unique strengths to create compelling dance moves. 💃✨

While I hadn't initially played the video game, once I got the job, I became addicted to it. The game served as a valuable resource for my research and greatly influenced the final outcome. The response from the fans has been overwhelming, and I couldn't be prouder of the incredible work we accomplished together. 🙌

"The Last of Us" set was unlike any I've been on before. We all shared a common goal: to deliver outstanding work. And I truly believe we achieved just that. 🌟

As I embark on my next project, "PromPact," filled with a hint of risky business and a lot of promposals, I can't help but feel excited about the creative possibilities ahead. 💃💫
