In this video I'll take you through the process of what I did to clear up the algae from my above ground intex frame pool. After shocking the pool I created a sand filter to help filter out the dead algae. Below are some of the parts you may need if you want to try to put together a sand filter yourself. You can find most of these parts at your local hardware store. Or if you are really interested in a sand filter I'm including what I will most likely be upgrading to in the future for my 12 foot pool below as well.
