When the 2022 Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 arrives as the German performance brand’s first EV, the ground-breaking all-electric limousine will come with some staggering numbers.
In its most powerful form, the EQS 53 develops 560kW of power and 1020Nm of torque – enough for it to claim a 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 3.4sec, which is pretty rapid for a 2.65-tonne sedan.
Join Sam Charlwood for a sneak-peek at the first AMG EV at the Bathurst 12 Hour before its official Australian launch in July.
