The new 2023 Kia Telluride is ready for the trails with two new trim levels called the X-Pro and the less aggressive X-Line model.

Both come with AWD as standard and the X-Line gets an increased ride height by 0.4-inch, a Tow mode, exclusive roof rails, front grille and 20-inch wheels.

The more advanced X-Pro gets a 110-volt outlet in the rear and 18 inch wheels instead of 20 with all-terrain tires that in my opinion makes it look a lot more purposeful. It can also tow up to 5500 pounds which is 500 pounds more than before.

Hill-descent control is now added as a standard feature on all new Tellurides regardless of trim level.

You still get the same single engine option for the 2023 model, the 3.8-liter V-6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.

On the inside, you now get a larger 12.3 inch infotainment screen however the good news is that the center console is pretty much the same as the old Telluride, meaning there are still physical buttons and knobs for the most essential functions.

The 2023 Telluride goes on sale this fall and will most likely be priced slightly higher than the pre-facelift version at $35- 45,000.
