On January 16, 2018, Square Enix revealed the Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It includes the base game, Season Pass and other downloadable add-ons, and the Royal Pack.

The Royal Pack features an expanded map, Insomnia City Ruins, new bosses, first-person camera mode, a fully-controllable Royal Vessel boat, an Armiger Unleashed accessory, a lore archive, quests of the Regalia Type-D, and more trophies.
