This is one of very few extant TV shows of the ‘early’ Yes. As I’ve said elsewhere, outside TV broadcasts were expensive things to do in the early 1970s, with trucks full of kit and technicians. But when the BBC did show up, they did it well, with excellent ‘balance’ engineers. These were early days of filming backstage - what went on in setting up, rehearsing, sound checking and packing up. TV directors of the day were not at all sure anyone would be interested in that stuff.
