Kit and Kate agree to be subjects in an inventor’s new machine that can turn them into whatever creature they would like – because surely being something else would be more fun than being a kitten! First Kit and Kate try living as bats until they learn they have to eat bugs, then as fish until they have to escape a shark, and then as snakes, skunks, and porcupines. With only enough changing juice for one last transformation, the kittens decide to turn themselves back into kittens lying in their warm comfortable beds.
