Watch Mia's Video ► • Temu Stole From Me
A few weeks ago, creator @MiaMaples posted a video called "Temu Stole From Me," where she explained how the company took her name, image, and likeness to promote and sell a product. Sounds kind of familiar, right? If you've followed Style Theory over the past year, you'll remember our video about how SHEIN did something similar to Cassey Ho (@blogilates) of POPFLEX. If you follow @hopescope you may know she's posted multiple videos buying brands that stole her videos for ads. She was able to poke fun at the matter, whereas creators like Cassey, Mia, @CassandraBankson, and @simplynailogical all made more serious videos discussing the unfortunate topic. So what's the deal with these shady business practices from SHEIN and Temu? What happened and how do they keep getting away with it?
