Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth explores the concept of a multiverse. So before we proceed, it’s important to recognize that there are three separate timelines (or worlds) we get a window into during the ending. Most of the time, it will be clear which timeline we are dealing with, but sometimes the game flips between timelines mid-cutscene. It can get a little confusing.
