Todays video is going to be packed with some very exciting pieces of VR & AR news. Things that I didn't think we would actually get to talk about for another while. First of all, we will talk about the Quest 1 and Quest 2 actually being rooted. Turns out there has been a way to root these devices for quite some time if they are on older firmware :) After this, we will move onto one of Virtual Desktops' bigger Quest updates. This time VD is adding Full Hand Tracking with index controller emulation and Body tracking to Wireless PCVR Streaming! This isn't the only thing you'll be streaming though as Vision Pro users now have an unofficial way to Stream PCVR to their Vision Pro using ALVR. Yes, that is right, you can already play PCVR on the Vision Pro, this is of course unofficially, but does seem to work. As well as this, Virtual Desktop and iVRy are also working on apps for the Vision Pro to make PCVR Streaming a lot easier. We also have a brand new Vision OS update that greatly improves personas and info on Google actually bringing a YouTube app to the Vision Pro after all! I hope you enjoy this video :D
