Set it off is a 1996 American Crime action film that was directed by F. Gary Gary. The film was written by Takashi Bufford alongside Kate Lanier. Its main stars included, Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Vivica Fox and Kimberly Elsie. The film follows a group of close friends who plan to rob a bank in Los Angeles, California in order to achieve better for themselves ans their families but they are torn apert by their own personal differences. Upon its release, the film had a huge commercial success with the sound track peaking at number four on the Billboard 200. The film, set it off still remains one of the best films of its time.
