My entry for Judgmental Critter's Animation Challenge! EDIT (6/30/22): Since the view count on this is steadily growing (like, people are actually looking at it O_O) and I'm no longer in crunch time mode, I thought I'd briefly explain a few things about the making of this video. Consider it a practice run for the full post-mortem I want to make later:

Q1: Why this artstyle?
A: This is the artstyle I use for my RWBY Neverfell project, which these specific Qrow and Raven character designs came from. I also happen to be able to draw really well in it for some reason, especially things like hands and facial expressions. So I decided to stick with it~

Q2: Why this scene?
A: No real reason, tbh. 9u9;; I was going through the volumes and this was the first scene I came across that I felt confidently about revamping. I like both of these characters, and with 2 weeks left until the deadline I didn't really have a lot of time to keep looking, so...

Q3: Why the bird-feather-transformation...thing?
A: It's a cute little headcanon/concept that I wanted to use in Neverfell-- the idea is that the Branwen twins have 'intermediate' forms between bird and human that they can also shift into, AND that these intermediate forms can be brought on involuntarily by stress.
Initially I was on the fence about including it here...but I figured it would help my contest entry stand out, and I was so strapped for time at that point, I didn't have time to come up with anything 'normal' to do instead. ^^;
