Liu Zhenmin, China's special envoy for climate change, says he plans to visit the US in May for a first official face-to-face meeting with counterpart John Podesta. “Common ground means that both the US and China want to continue to lead this global process to respond to climate change,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg's Stephen Engle. He also comments on the prospect of a Donald Trump presidency and the potential consequences for the global climate initiative.
