I was recently presented with the unique and first opportunity to work with Quantum Dots from Nanosys in a rather different way. 

Nanosys Quantum Dot technology is typically used to produce high quality, vibrant images on QLED televisions. For the abstract short film “Quantum Flows” we used these tiny nanocrystals in a rather different way, mixing them into various materials like fluids, pastes, and oils. With the help of motion control robots and controlled UV lighting, while capturing in Rec.2020 at 8K resolution, we've created a piece focused on vivid and pure HDR color as well as subtle detail.

Best watched in full screen on a 4K HDR or 8K HDR display with rec.2020 color gamut. Turn up the bass :)
