Sky News host Sharri Markson says Harvard's interim president Alan Garber has “threatened to suspend” students who continue to occupy its yard in the pro-Palestinian encampment.

Ms Markson said protests are “still erupting” on campuses in the United States and Australia.

“Staff at La Trobe University have been told not to intervene with protesters when they disrupt classrooms and to let them share the information they wish to," she said.

“For a full five minutes, that’s extraordinary to have to sit through that in class.

“At Monash University in Victoria, Israelis are being intimidated by Palestinian protesters.”
