Washington came into Super Bowl XVIII as three-point favorites over Los Angeles, but it seemed the world overlooked the dominant Raiders defense who held the Redskins to 9 points. On the other side of the ball, Raiders running back Marcus Allen dominated to the tune of 191 Yards and two touchdowns in an MVP performance. The victory gave the Raiders their third Lombardi trophy and made them the first team to win a Super Bowl title in two different cities (Los Angeles, Oakland).
