A short video, taken from 1.4 miles uphill from the Moonrocks, showing the smoke from the Martin Road Fire in Bonny Doon on June 11, 2008 at about 3:30 PM. The fire had been burning about 35 minutes when the movie was taken. A mandatory evacuation was issued a few hours later. Our house was never affected, but it was a close call for the Bonny Doon community.
