Too much smoke or fumes in your workshop. First, in this video, I discuss the types of smoke and fumes produced by standard machines used by hobbyists and makers. Then I explore why that might be a problem and looks at some products from Comgrow to address the problem. Finally, I evaluate the Comgrow Smoke Absorber and Laser Enclosure to determine their effectiveness.

I also look at wearing a mask and if it makes a difference when working in your home-based maker's space or workshop.

The video is more than just a discussion. It includes accurate tests where I measure the HCHO and PM 2.5 levels with and without the Comgrow smoke absorber.
