Sadiq Khan has been re-elected mayor of London, winning a historic third term in a dramatic contest. Khan secured victory over the Conservative candidate, Susan Hall, on Saturday afternoon, with 43.8% of the vote. He took to the stage to give his victory speech after the result was announced. 'It's been a difficult few months. We faced a campaign of nonstop negativity,' Khan said. 'It's the honour of my life to serve the city that I love and I'm beyond humbled right now'
