September 27th 2019 -- the top ranked Mater Dei Monarchs took a plane trip for the first time since 1991 to face perennial power St. John's College High School. The Monarchs were led by 5 star quarterback Bryce Young, who just that week had flipped his commitment from USC to Alabama. The Cadets had a talented roster as well, including LSU commit WR Rakim Jarrett and Clemson commit DE Tre Williams.
