Apple Watch (Series 0) was for the first time announced in 2014 and received a standing ovation during the presentation by the CEO Tim Cook. More than 4.2 million people pre-ordered this device. Back then, it featured only 1.32 inch display, and introduced functionality previously not seen in any other smartwatch, not even their biggest competitor, Samsung - it only worked with Apple iPhone.

Fast forward to 2022, and we now have the Apple Watch Series 7 that are one of the best looking smart watch out there, with gigantic display and functionality that other brands have hard time competing with. To this day, there were more than 100 million Apple Watch sold in the world.
