Welcome to our latest episode in our ADVENTURES in our TINY FLOATING HOME.

In this episode Michael and Jac finally make it back to the tranquility of the canal, the Trent & Mersey Canal to precise. Our LIVEABOARD LIFESTYLE suits the UK WATERWAYS canals as we find what could be the perfect mooring in the village of SHARDLOW. On the way there we have a hairy moment as we cruise through on our LIVEABOARD NARROWBOAT the junction of the River Trent and the River Derwent and get caught in an under current where the rivers meet. It’s a good job Jac had got the coffee on as that helped to steady her nerves.
We also take you on a little historical tour in Shardlow and talk about the history of this part of UK INLAND WATERWAYS.
