Berlin is a fantastic destination for solo travelers who love history. There are so many different neighborhoods and things to do. People were super friendly, and it was easy to navigate public transportation. I went on a "free" city tour, but the concept behind it is that you choose how much to pay the tour guide. Be sure to bring cash! Excluding a day trip to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, I think that 4-6 days is perfect for the city alone. I wish that I had more time for a day trip to Potsdam.

I stayed at Selina Mitte and highly recommend it. Very aesthetic and comfortable.

Day 1 - 0:00
- Shop and grab drinks in Mitte

Day 2 - 1:16
- Zeit für Brot
- Reichstag dome (register for a time slot weeks/months in advance!)
- City tour with Checkpoint Charlie, Führerbunker Parking Lot, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and Brandenburg Gate
- Kurfürstendamm shopping boulevard
- Try Viet food!
- Hackesche Höfe
- Gendarmenmarkt

Day 3 - 4:02
- Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp tour (well worth the price, learn a ton about history)
- Topography of Terror
- Rüyam Gemüse Kebab (highly recommended by German friends)

Day 4 - 5:10
- East Side Gallery
- Markthalle Neun
- Thrifting in Mitte (Humana had great variety)
