SEGUIN, TX -- A total of 20-vehicles at Seguin Chevrolet are missing wheels and tires.

Police say it was a part of an overnight heist this past weekend.

Similar thefts have happened at area car dealerships, but the management team at Seguin Cheverolet never expected it would happen to them because the dealership is located between the police department and the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office.

"These guys are out there we need to get them,"said Seguin Chevrolet General Manager Shawn Driscoll.

The search is on for whoever left multiple vehicles at Seguin Chevrolet sitting on blocks.

A total of 20 pick-up trucks, SUV's, and one car are missing all four wheels and tires.

Investigators believe it took a group of experienced thieves to pull off this heist.

"It's pretty obvious that they had this in mind, you know to be able to bring all those blocks, they need tools to take off the wheels and tires. The trucks and trailers to haul that amount off," Sgt. James Springer said.

Investigators say it was late Saturday night when thieves cut the locks off the front gate, then disabled lights above the parking lot.

It's believed they were in and out in about an hour.

"A passerby had noticed the vehicles up on blocks," Springer said.
