Civics + Humanities Middle Grades Grants is a new pilot program that aims to support civics and humanities education for California’s middle grades-aged youth (grades 6-8 or ages 10-14) in school and out-of-school settings. We hope these grants will empower a pipeline of California students to access humanities-rich education throughout their school career and into their adult lives as citizens in a civil society. Programs may take place in classrooms, after school, or further afield in libraries, summer camps, and more.
