Kick the can to the curb! With my Simple recipe for homemade sloppy joes you won't go back to the canned stuff again. In the video I made a one pound recipe. Below you will find the measurements for 2 pound recipe. Remember it freezes well, but its so good I doubt if you will have any left to freeze. This is a winner winner sloppy joe dinner! Enjoy!
For 2 pound recipe-
2lbs ground beef (I use 88/12)
2 Cups chopped onion (approx. 1 1/2 large onions)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 1/2 Cups of Ketchup ( organic Walmart brand is good, Hunts or a low sodium Heinz- original is too salty)
1/2 tsp. Kosher or sea salt
1 Cup Water
& same instructions as in the video.
