2022 Hyundai Kona N POV Review - It's Bonkers! [Car Obsession]

Hello guys, welcome back to Car Obsession, and welcome to another POV Review. This time around it's the turn of a family crossover that's packing a firecracker under the bonnet - the new Hyundai Kona N. What we have here is essentially an i30N but in the bodyshape of a Kona.

Just like the i30N, the Kona N is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged four pot offering 280hp and 392Nm of torque. This is fed to the front wheels, but unlike the i30N, the Kona N is ONLY available with the new 8-speed DCT. 0-62 takes just 5.5 seconds, and the top speed is 149mph.

With a starting price of £35,820, the Kona N comes with a plethora of standard kit such as N styling, LED lights, keyless entry, tinted rear windows, 19" alloys, digital instrument cluster, head up display, front sports seats which are heated and ventilated, heated outer rear seats, 10.25" infotainment, climate control, heated steering wheel - the list goes on. As you can see, a lot comes as standard, and better still, the Kona N comes with a 5 year warranty, which extends to track usage.
