From 1984 to 2006 Jose Maria Olazabal made 21 appearances at The Open Championship. In 1992 he made the first of his top-three Open finishes playing at Muirfield.

The Spaniard grew into the tournament, making rounds of 70, 67, 69 and 68 as he showed why he was a two-time Masters champion, by playing great shots and competing against a strong field of adversaries.

Ollie was only bettered by runner-up John Cook and the winner of the Claret Jug, Sir Nick Faldo.

The 121st Open was a high point in Olazabal's Championship story and these are the best moments.
