Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel?

Valentino is angel’s boss and probably one of the most hated characters in hazbin hotel. In this short i’ll go through the evolution of his design.

Val actually started out life as 3 different characters, which vivzie then stitched their traits together to create val.

She took the tall stature, colour scheme, hat and infatuation with angel from angel’s old boyfriend tyco. She took the heart shaped monocle and cigarette from another unnamed zoophobia character. And lastly she took the moth traits and red smoke from a character named pillar from her cancelled allison project.

Combined together she made val. Here’s his 2019 design from the pilot.

We see him again in the angel prequel comic and the angel dust addict music video in 2020.

And finally in 2024 we saw valentino in the full show, with the main design change being that his antennae is heart shaped.

Val has definitely changed the least out of the vee’s and i think my favourite outfit of his was the one he wore in episode 4.
