Major League Baseball has made many changes over the off-season, but by far the most impactful is their new pitch clock. What used to be a beautiful game with no clocks or time minimums and maximums has now become a corporate tool to try to gain a slightly larger audience by shortening games by a few minutes. The pitch clock is a bad thing, and true baseball fans will recognize its harmful effects on the game.
