David dives into the evolution of the iconic Mario Underground Theme by Koji Kondo, highlighting the most interesting additions (or subtractions) and explaining the music theory behind them. It's truly amazing how much a single melody can influence video game music forever!

We'll start with the original Super Mario Bros underground theme, and work our way through the past, all the way to the current Super Mario Wonder soundtrack... a lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same.
