If you have fast DDR4 memory is it really worth upgrading to “faster” DDR5 memory? In this video, the next in our "Ultimate PC Component Fighting Championship" battle series, we are going to find out. Our UpcFC series is focused on helping you make the tough choices when building your dream PC. In this series we help you make the right choice by pitting two components against each other in the PC octagon to see who wins.

For this video our focus will be on high performance memory, with DDR4-3600 CL14 in the red corner taking on DDR5-7200 CL34 in the blue corner. I always like to add bonus content in my videos, so in addition to showing you benchmarks across 17 games at 3 different resolutions, I am going to show you how to check the stability of your memory and if unstable, how to tweak it to get it stable. If you stick around, I will also share with you a bonus troubleshooting guide on how to get your system working if it doesn’t boot, a must know for every PC builder.

Remember, it's not rocket science, it's Lego … my goal is to help you make the right component choices and put them together the right way, every time.
