The average human being in the developed world battles sadness, stress, depression and worry on a daily basis. Religious beliefs should afford a sense of comfort however; it seems that 21st century man has lost the ability to connect to God, In Islam, the answer is remarkably simple. We turn back to our Creator. God knows what is best for His creation. He has complete knowledge of the human psyche. He knows of the pain, the despair, and the sadness. God is whom we are reaching for in the darkness. When we put God back on our agenda, the pain will subside.
