Making McDonalds Breakfast At Home

Making a McDonalds Breakfast at home is really easy, all you need is basic ingredients and you can do it in no time.
We have heard of McDonalds hash browns going up to $7 in some markets, their recipe is not a secret.

Recipe:
For the Hash Browns:
Ingredients:

1 each- large russet potato
3 TBSP- cornstarch
1/4 cup- white vinegar
salt
pepper
olive oil
cooking oil

Method:
Peel the potatoes and slice into 1/8th inch strips.
Dice the potatoes into small pieces.
Place the potatoes into warm water with vinegar, soak for 15 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and dry with a paper towel.
Saute the potatoes in olive oil until soft, do not brown the potatoes, add water if need while cooking to keep from browning.
Remove the potatoes when soft, they should be easy to smash when pinched.
Place into a mixing bowl and cool.
Add salt and pepper as needed, add corn starch and mix until the potatoes are completely coated.
Mix with your hands to create a dough like texture.
Divide the potatoes in equal parts and smash and form an oval.
You can freeze the potatoes for 30 minutes to keep them together.
Place the hash browns in hot cooking oil 350F and fry until golden brown.

Recipe:
For the Sausage McMuffin with Egg
Ingredients:

2 each- English muffins
2 each- 3 oz portions breakfast sausage patties. You can use bilk and form to patties.
2 each- whole eggs
2 each- American cheese slices

Method:
Cook sausage patties until browned and 165 internal temperature.
Toast English muffins until slightlycrisp in the center.
Spray a biscuit cutter with coking spray to coat the inside, this will help the egg not to stick.
Place the biscuit cutter in the center of hot a saute pan, dusted with cooking spray.
Place the egg in the center of the biscuit cutter.
Crack the yolk of the egg with a fork.
Add a small amount of water to the pan to steam the egg and cover.
Cook for 3 minutes until the whites and yolk are cooked.
Remove and assemble your sandwich.
