The other day my mom called saying it looks like the toilet is leaking in the bathroom. As soon as I arrived I knew the wax ring on the toilet gave out and water had been leaking at least for a while. Fortunately it's on a concrete slab, so no major damage. Unfortunately the exact same engineered hardwood flooring from 10 years ago is no longer made, so we decided to go with a luxury vinyl tile that was a closer match to the tile in the entryway hallway, and will be better suited for a bathroom. Here's a quick video from the initial look to demo, clean up and installation. Quick and pretty inexpensive repair that turned out nice.
