You will have to play with the setting and see what makes it work best for you. Don't be afraid to color outside of the lines and think for yourself.
-- Air compressor = One large enough to spray at 60psi. I use the 2hp 29gal 120v from Harbor Freight.
-- Grit = for polish I have found that glass bead size (170-325) works best.
-- Amount of grit = Play with it. I just add handfuls until it starts spraying nicely. Once again, think for yourself.

-- Spray at a 45 degree angle about 12 inches away from part. Once again, experiment what works best for you and the parts you are refinishing.
-- No, I will not make you a list of parts and where to buy them. Quit being lazy.
-- Before each use, stick your hand down in the bucket and stir it all up.
-- I have found that the holes in the tube get clogged. You can clean them or, remove the plug at the end of the hose and put an inline adjustable valve prior to the hose and adjust so you still get enough medium up to the gun.
