I built a natural pond and i did not realize it would create a microenvironment on it's own this fast! The pond has attracted dragonflies, damselflies, frogs, toads, praying mantis, and many other beneficial insects. The minnow fish in the pond has reduced the mosquito population to almost zero. The chickens and the ducks have eradicated weeds and created a natural balance in the area surrounding the pond. The pond has been a blessing.
