Before there was YELLOW, RED and BLUE, there was Pokémon GREEN. An all new ROM hack of the original game translated from Japanese is now here and what better way to celebrate than to have yet another nuzlocke challenge? This time around Dr. G leads the charge with her new team of pocket monsters as she takes on the points based challenge. Will she be able to do it? The woman from T Mobile seems to think so....

Nuzloke Rules:

Infamous will be battling it out for survival using a points system, starting with 151 (like the gen 1 Pokedex) and the aim of the game is to try and not lose any points as well as their Pokémon; below is a breakdown on how they could lose points and how much they could stand to lose with each rule broken

Losing Points;

1. Failing to name a PKMN - 5 points
2. For each fainted/dead PKMN -10 points (only applies if trainer survives battle and does not blackout)
3. Use of healing item (Potion, Antidote, Awakening etc) -20 points
4. Revive PKMN for use in battle -25 points
5. Blackout (lose entire party) -50 Points
6. One PKMN per area (can't capture another from same location/route/cave as a previous captured PKMN but the trainer can choose which Pokémon they wish to go for rather than following the "First Encounter" rule) - PKMN is Instantly Disqualified

Bonus Rule: Lose First encounter -1 point (Losing battle with Rival at the Lab results in a Mercy of 1 point loss)

Gaining Points;

There is only one way to earn Points on this adventure and that is by Beating a GYM Leader, for which the trainer will earn +25 Points (Due to PKMN 25th Anniversary) A total of +200 Points can be earned in a single run given there are 8 GYM Leaders in total. Points may also be earned by beating the same GYM Leader/s after a reset has happened.
