Today we were in Chelmsford MA and our client had a leaking main water valve from the water main line coming into the house. The old 3/4” stop & waste style valve was leaking and corroded. We had to shut off the water before the water meter. Then cut out the old valve. We then installed a new code required Lead Free Apollo ball type 1/4 turn shut off valve. We use the Milwaukee M-12 Pro Press tool for all of our water and hydronic work. It’s a huge time saver and incredibly reliable. No risk of starting a fire with old school soldering.
