Dad’s love to think we are rugged and the TRD Pro is the SUV version of this guy (lumberjack) thanks to the angular shapes, urban camo, light bar, and special off road goodies like fox shocks and a skid plate, perfect for finding a parking spot at Trader Joes.

It has a 3.5 liter twin turbo V6…but really it’s a hybrid for people who hate hybrids…and it sounds like a V8. Oh yeahhhh.

On the inside you get a rad startup screen…yeah those are mountains and a mountainous 14” screen in the middle. It’s Very responsive, crisp and quick. Apple CarPlay and Android auto can power through 14 jbl speakers.

Tech is great but easy wins. so having large physical buttons for volume and climate makes dad happy. Also pick your drive mode and 2 or 4 wd and camera modes for all around the car and the center console has a ton of space.

And let’s talk about the seating. The 2nd row doesn’t slide so that’s a bummer but it’s fine for hauling your 6’1” dad friends to Home Depot…just to window shop, unless there’s a sale. There are overhead vents which are great for kids and enough room for car seats but a rear-facing car seat might be tight.

That third row might move you into “dad of the year” position b/c your kids CAN slide those seats, plus there are window shades, overhead vents, cup holders and charging ports.

SO yeah, clearly the Sequoia is a rad truck but…Does it Dad?
